Today is my last day in Marfa.  I always get sad when I have to leave.  I feel rested though!  I will be heading back to Vegas with a clear head and a ton of inspiration.  While I was here I met this beautiful girl named Romi.  I knew I had to photograph her the second I saw her!  So we went out to a ranch yesterday right at dusk and took some amazing photographs!  Here are a couple!

I’ve been in Marfa, Texas for the past week.  I love it here!  I get to relax, catch up on sleep, and work!  My favorite part about Marfa is all the amazing photos I get to take.  It’s hard to put my camera down when I am here.  Just thought I would share a few with you!

xoxo!

So I’ve been running around the house taking photos of everything with my new camera.  The animals hate me right now.  Every time I grab my camera they all scatter.  I had my first photo shoot with it Wednesday with Candace Campbell The photos turned out beautiful, I will post some soon!

My new camera is going to get some serious use this coming month.  I can’t wait!

Over the last couple of years I’ve had a lot of changes in my life.  I struggled for a while and put my camera down.  I was in a fog and had no inspiration or desire to shoot.  But the fog has lifted and I am finding myself inspired again.  I am building a studio in my house, made myself a new office space to work, and bought myself a new camera this week!  So here is where I will be spending a lot of my time.

I also thought it would be cool to try this wordpress thing out.  I figured it would be a cool place to post blogs about the projects I am working on, post new photos, and fun behind the scene stuff.

So now off to figure this website out.

xoxo,
Les
